When it comes to wellness & specifically travel for wellbeing, Lila walks the talk.
She attends the retreats. She holds Yoga Teacher Certification (200hr+ RYT), as well as Nutrition Counseling. She pursues yogic continuing education annually primarily in Yin/Restorative Yoga for athletes and athletic bodies, but perhaps even more interesting to Lila is the study of the philosophy, the history, the why of yoga. She’s currently enrolled in a 3-year curriculum out of Mumbai India on Vedanta – the ancient Indian Philosophy which answers the fundamental questions of life, and the subtle art of relating to the world.
Lila has also amassed a killer black book of deep contacts within hospitality & culture the world over. LFTCo, her travel agency, has arranged travel door-to-door - no detail spared - for like-minded solo travelers, adventurers, couples, families, and bespoke groups for over a decade.
She takes this mindset of personalized highly immersive luxury leisure planning into assisting yoga, wellness and holistic lifestyle/leadership professionals with the intricacies of their retreat planning. With the ultimate goal of making retreats more seamless and culturally immersive then they otherwise would have been. Because of that little black book, and track record of hundreds of successful trips planned... She knows the owners and managers of hotels & villas, the local drivers, the local Chefs, the local yoga teachers & practitioners of indigenous modalities, the culture bearers, the insiders.
When partnering with Lila, her contacts, ability, and knowledge are what will set your retreat apart. And what will leave your discerning attendees eased during the planning process, and immersed during the actual retreat. So often destination retreats have a beautiful container for attendees to gather, learn, sleep, and eat. But it’s rare when they go deeper to join forces locally. Lila will let you as the retreat leader do what you are best at – gathering your people, teaching your modality(s) – and she will do what she is best at – providing creative recommendations to inject your retreat with as much local flavor as you’re up for and as much logistical assistance (pre-travel intel, flight bookings, transfers, private drivers, local practitioners, local guides, 24/7 local in-country emergency contacts, etc) as you’d like.
This additional service to Lila’s travel agency was born from her attendance at numerous retreats seeing areas where her expertise & familiarity could greatly benefit not just the retreat leader(s), but the attendees, the local people who live where a retreat is held, and ultimately the integrity of the retreat.
Although Lila can assist with any age/demographic, Lila’s area of expertise and joy is in working with age 40+ HNW/UHNW professionals who value transformational travel with exact expectation in ambiance, experience, and service.
